About Pads Chicago

Pads Chicago is run by a homeless person and the site is intended to serve as a tool to the homeless community.  Homelessness is a fast growing problem facing our country in light of the current economic crisis.  Pads Chicago contains resourceful information, downloads, links, and chat, including positive and negative feedback by members regarding their experiences.  I feel that the best way to combat the homelessness problem and related issues is for everyone to work in a team effort.

Please note that Pads Chicago is a personal website and NOT affiliated with PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter). The name Pads Chicago is generated from the actual pads on the floor that homeless people sleep on at shelters. Pads Chicago is not a 501(c)3 charitable organization at this time.

I have just spent time reading your blog. My heart goes out to you. I am a missionary in Vanuatu, but Australia is my home country. THere is homelessness there, but not as bad as the US, australia is a lot better with welfare than the US. I am so glad you are still hooked into your faith in God. I pray that you will find a way out of homelessness and make contact with your children again. God bless you.
